The Next New Thing
In my opinion, the next "new media" will be video chat with random people from around the world. It's like a Skype, but nobody knows who can chat with other users. It might be chance to meet new people from video chat. Nowadays, there are a lot of chat applications with others, but I haven't seen yet video chat from others who don't know each other. For example, if one of the users need to set the alarm in the morning, another user can call him or her instead of the alarm. Furthermore, if somebody want to get advise from others, he or she should choose in the category of people who can solve the problem like advisors. I think it will be helped for lonely people or everybody.

It is a subjective matter whether to do video chat with an stranger but I kind of like the idea of getting advice from the people living around the world. It might be vast but one can still have an option.
ReplyDeleteHi Miyeon!
ReplyDeleteInteresting post, I did not think of that. I know there are chats out there that let you chat with random people around the world but your idea seems more specific. I think its a great idea because everyone needs to talk to someone. The nice part about it would be the fact that you get advice/feedback/prospective from someone who is from a different culture, which I think will be helpful.
It sounds interesting the way you put it. If people from around the world come together to offer advice to each other or share recipes for cooking. It would be pretty cool if the application of it would be a safe environment.
